Completion of certificate from an accredited school of Cardiology Technology. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta Society of Registered Cardiology Technologist (ASRCT). Active or eligible for registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Require greater than 3 years as a Cardiology tech I; knowledgeable on performing stress testing, monitors (BP, Holter, Event) and good communicator (close working relation with physicians). Training and recognized certification on devices (ICD) - comparable to BCIT Device certification program.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a device clinic setting.
