Completion of a post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent level of education and experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:Business Analysis certificate. Advanced skills in MS Excel; Intermediate skills in MS Word, MS Visio. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about complex issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management and organizational skills. Able to meet project deadlines. Able to establish priorities, make independent decisions, respond to changing needs with minimal supervision. Expertise in project management and process improvement. Ability to work in a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment and build and maintain positive working relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in a Public Health program. Project Management courses or certification. Experience with process improvement initiatives. Experience with the Connect Care Clinical Information System. A strong understanding of Public Health Calgary Zone programs, operations and their connection to clinical information systems and client information management processes is preferred.
