Completion of a two year diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology from an accredited Institute of Technology. Active or eligible for registration as a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) with The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET).
Additional Required Qualifications:Candidate must be eligible to travel outside the country. Travel within the Central, South and Calgary Zones will be required. Must have a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications:5-8 years of relevant experience in medical equipment/technology support (Diagnostic Imaging and Medical Cyclotron preferred) coupled with several courses in diagnostic imaging equipment service. Healthcare IT knowledge such as networking, application interfaces, antivirus/encryption, and experience with computerized - maintenance management software and medical diagnostic software. Demonstrate good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
