Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:A passionate and experienced Registered Nurse with over 5 years of clinical practice in rural acute care, bringing a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in rural healthcare. Demonstrated excellence in clinical leadership, staff mentorship, and adult education, with a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development. Adept at designing and delivering impactful education programs that enhance clinical competencies and improve patient outcomes in resource-limited settings
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of post graduate education is desired. Demonstrated experience delivering education programs. Ability to deliver just in time learning through 1:1 mentorship, small group facilitation, tailored to frontline clinical needs. Public speaking skills, presenting in both small and large team settings Knowledge and application of the LEADS Framework in healthcare leadership. Commitment to lifelong learning, clinical excellence, interdisciplinary team development.
