The minimum educational requirement is a Baccalaureate degree in a data or health-related field with additional training such as epidemiology or biostatistics. Candidates should have expertise in database management as well as data analysis. Work experience and advanced training in a health-related field is an asset. The position may be placed at any AHS office location across the province and the analyst must work on site due to system privacy requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other statistical software (e.g., R) products is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are important especially the ability to communicate well with colleagues across the IPC program. Must be able to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
