A minimum of a post-secondary degree in a healthcare area, epidemiology, health economics, business administration, human resources. or other related area. Master’s level degree is preferred. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. A minimum of three years progressively responsible experience in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. Clear pattern of professional and personal development. Experience working with healthcare providers is an asset.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated success in developing and managing multiple planning projects with multi-stakeholder involvement. Ability to deal with complex or sensitive issues in a professional manner. Well developed strategic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and presentation skills including the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Ability to take initiative and to work both independently and collaboratively. Understanding of and ability to align to organizational goals, values, priorities, and strategies. Comprehensive computer skills with all Windows-based office applications, MS Teams, and preferably also with SharePoint and Tableau.
Preferred Qualifications:
Human resources experience e.g., client services, job evaluation, labour relations, HR shared services and/or policy interpretation. Facilitation and consensus-building experience with healthcare providers and other diverse stakeholders. Change management, process improvement, and/or project management in a healthcare environment. Understanding of workforce and patient population characteristics; quantitative and qualitative analysis; and human resources administrative data.
