The UAH and Stollery Children’s Emergency Department is a busy tertiary care level I emergency department and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This large tertiary Trauma Centre provides opportunities in a broad base of emergency nursing from Pediatrics to Trauma Care. The Admin V provides support to the Emergency Department, Patient Care Manager, Supervisor, and Unit Managers. As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience in a medical or hospital setting. Minimum of 2 years. Business Administration or Medical Office Assistant education. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with Oracle Supply Management, iExpense controls, e-Facilities Requests, IAM requests, ASAP/EPIC modules, and ePeople, supporting staff of more than 500 employees. Skilled in Outlook calendar management for the Patient Care Manager (PCM) and Unit Managers. Current WFM Scheduler experience. Minimum of two years RMS/Recruitment experience. Two to five years of meeting minute taking experience and advanced knowledge of Collective Agreements and HR practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The position involves handling sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy, providing backup support in position management, recruitment, managing calendar scheduling, meeting coordination, room bookings, and minute taking for the Patient Care Manager and Unit Managers.
Preferred Qualifications:Current Admin V experience.
