Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated accuracy and proficiency in advanced computer and keyboarding skills; minimum 60 wpm required. Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook Calendar & other Windows Office Suite programs. Test will be administered. 3-5 years experience in a progressively responsible clerical position in a health care industry. Familiarity with Netcare, Connect Care, CPSM, Grand & Toy, supply requisitioning systems & Meditech. Familiarity with community-based health programs and ability to work collaboratively with staff from various departments. Share examples of exceptional customer service with staff, management, clients and the public with both internal staff services and public services. Share examples of being self-directed with strong interpersonal skills and willingness and ability to adapt to changes and learn new data systems. Exercise judgment, professionalism, diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality at all times. Ability to work effectively within a team or independently in a fast-paced, multi-task environment. Ability to cope under pressure, deal with stress and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with setting priorities to work productively in an organized manner. Must be able to wear a medical mask. Must be capable of pushing & pulling wheeled carts occasionally exceeding 25kgs and capable of walking, sitting or standing for long periods. Must be able to use hand and arms to reach, lift and carry items up to 25kgs and able to maneuver stairs and step stool.
Preferred Qualifications:Payroll (e-People/ESP), Oracle, RMS system and Collective Agreements understanding will be an asset. Proficiency with Excel preferred. Previous experience working in a capacity of providing direct support to management staff is preferred.
