Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of a Medical Office Assistant Diploma/Certificate, Business Administration Diploma/Certificate or equivalent experience of 5 years at a progressive senior administrative level. Experience in an administrative capacity in a health care setting. Two years of experience managing calendars, taking minutes, creating agendas. Attention to detail - testing will be completed to confirm. Strong communication skills. Experience with basic accounting and managing expenses. Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity. Intermediate competency in Microsoft office suite including 50-60 wpm typing – testing will be completed to confirm. Preferred Qualifications:Five years of full-time experience in a senior administrative capacity in a health care setting. Experience with event planning. Experience with database and/or website management. Experience with scheduling, physician and medical learner scheduling preferred. Medical terminology.
