The Accounts Payable (AP) Contact Centre may be the job for you! The Accounts Payable Contact Centre is the first point of contact for support and inquiries for all internal and external customers of accounts payable by phone and by email. We are a fast-paced team with a high volume of phone interactions and email intake. As an enthusiastic member of the team, you will provide helpful, timely, professional responses and support to our customers. Our primary customers are vendors, employees, and physicians. The team handles inquiries regarding invoices, payment status and provides system navigation support to all levels of employees on the finance applications and processes that we use. This position is eligible for remote or on-site work arrangement; however if candidate chooses remote option, the initial training period will be on-site in the Red Deer office, with the timing of the transition to remote would be at the discretion of the supervisor. This is a temporary part-time position of 23.25 hours or 3 days per week for a period of up to one (1) year.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 6 months’ experience in a contact centre position (or call centre, customer service, customer support, help desk or related position) - please specify the software system that you have worked with in this position. Plus minimum post-secondary diploma (or 2 years completed towards a degree) in an accounting, finance or business admin program OR minimum 2 years’ experience in a high volume, automated Accounts Payable position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Oracle ERP or similar accounts payable/financial systems (i.e. SAP, JD Edwards, or Great Plains). Experience with Adobe Acrobat Editing software and intermediate level competency of Microsoft Excel.
