Additional Required Qualifications:Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent required; Medical Office Assistant (MOA) certification required. A post-secondary education relevant to this position may be considered. Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook) required. Current working knowledge of clinical software applications (Connect Care/Epic and Netcare) required. A minimum of two years of current administrative experience within a complex clinical administrative role required. Accurate keyboarding skills: minimum typing speed of 50 wpm required. Effective time management skills and critical thinking and prioritization skills required. Excellent English communication, written, spelling, grammar and proofreading skills required. Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills are required for this position. This position requires the candidate to be flexible and able to work under pressure to manage competing and changing priorities. You are required to exercise professionalism and sound judgement, tact, diplomacy and discretion at all times. You are required to abide by all organizational information privacy management procedures, processes and guidelines.
