Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Medical Terminology Course required. Accurate and proficient keyboarding skills. Absolute attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent knowledge of the English language both written and oral. Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional image, manage stressful situations with empathy and to remain calm, courteous, sensitive, and tactful. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Skilled at paying close attention to detail. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Able to prioritize work and cope with frequent interruptions. Must be able to work all shifts based on operational needs. Recent Diagnostic Imaging experience required. Demonstrated proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel, Internet, and Email). Must be able to utilize dual monitors.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous electronic Diagnostic Imaging Scheduling experience preferred. Minimum 3 months recent experience in a hospital or medical environment, involved in booking, reception, and clerical duties preferred.
