Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of post-secondary unit clerk/secretarial administrative diploma. Must have successfully completed a medical terminology course. A minimum of 6-12 months recent (within the last year) scheduling in EPIC in an inpatient clinical setting required. Must be able to prioritize and be flexible with changes to workload. Strong organizational skills, with demonstrated high attention to detail required. Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in working with personal computers and various software including Microsoft office, Excel, My Scheduler, Teams and Connect Care. Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal. A satisfactory reference from your current direct manager will be required prior to hire. Must have experience creating documents, templates, taking minutes, coordinating schedules/locations/staff/patients. Experience working with financial data, scheduling according to the collective agreements, payroll procedures and guidelines required.
Preferred Qualifications:Ability to take initiative with advanced computer skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Displays professionalism. Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills. Must have excellent communication/interpersonal skills, be courteous, cheerful, and pleasant and possess an outgoing attitude.
