Administrative Support IV
Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this position is responsible for providing administrative support to our UAH Outpatient Residence Front Reception and FM&E Office. Primary focus will be operational support to the front reception by completing registration and discharge of patients, collecting payments, while responding to requests over the phone, e-mail, and in person. The successful candidate will apply problem solving skills to perform a variety of patient-staff interactions while ensuring the upkeep, safety, and cleanliness of our hotel style rooms by compiling daily housekeeping reports, reporting safety concerns, and entering maintenance requests into e-facilities.

Some post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications:Post-secondary education required (e.g. courses in office, business administration, and/or Facilities Maintenance). Minimum 3-5 years' experience working in an office environment including payroll and hospital experience, word processing, spreadsheets and graphics is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to candidates with experience in health care environment with an understanding in Facilities terminology. Experience in building maintenance preferably in a hospital setting. Knowledge of WHMIS Guidelines, and First Aid. Membership in a professional organization related to administrative support in maintenance and healthcare would be considered an asset.
