Our clinics support Family Physicians, NPs, Nurses and allied health professionals in providing comprehensive, inclusive Primary Care services to patients. As an Administrative Support in a patient facing and assistant role, you will be integral in supporting clinic daily flow and ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate and holistic care. This position is ideal for individuals with previous experience working in family medicine, seeking an opportunity to work flexible hours and to work as part of the interdisciplinary team supporting patients. This position will be part of Primary Care Alberta effective November 18, 2024. Additional Required Qualifications:Previous experience working in a family medicine practice. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Med Access and Connect Care. Strong Communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment. Flexibility to work on-call shifts as well as vacation coverage. Proficiency with Microsoft office and computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of a recognized Medical Office Assistant program, or equivalent experience and training combined. Previous experience in a family Health Clinic environment. Positive disposition and collaborative approach.
