Your Opportunity:

Are you a highly organized and proactive administrative professional with a passion for supporting public health initiatives and research? Alberta Health Services is seeking an Administrative Support team member to join our Nutrition Services department. In this role, you will be at the heart of provincial public health nutrition and nutrition research and evaluation activities. You’ll manage calendars and group inboxes, coordinate meetings and logistics, and prepare documentation that supports strategic initiatives. You’ll also play a vital role in supporting data collection and evaluation efforts, formatting reports, and maintaining tracking systems for key metrics. Additionally, you’ll help coordinate workshops, classes, and e-learning modules for public health staff and the public, ensuring smooth operations and timely responses to inquiries. Your work will directly support the Director of Public Health Nutrition, Provincial Public Health Nutrition Leads, and the Nutrition Services Research & Evaluation Team—making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of Albertans. Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Education: Grade 12 diploma plus a post-secondary certificate in office or business administration, or equivalent experience. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as Microsoft Teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in health care, public health, or research settings. Familiarity with: Survey platforms (e.g., REDCap), reference management software (e.g., Mendeley) and E-learning systems (e.g., MyLearningLink, Absorb).
