Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the PCM/UM for Critical Care, this position provides secretarial and clerical support. The incumbent will provide confidential administrative and program support to the PCM and UM with a limited degree of supervision. This includes responsibilities for managing the day-to-day administrative requirements which include managing calendars, staff scheduling, producing memos for distribution, posting positions for hire, and contacting candidates and setting up interviews. This position also involves typing of correspondence and a variety of documents, scheduling meetings, taking minutes, booking appointments, payroll verification, and performing related duties as assigned. The position compiles statistical information, completes standard reports, files documents, and orders supplies. This position also provides secretarial relief for other team members of the administration team and will work collaboratively to ensure excellent secretarial support is provided to the programs. This position is required to be able to push, pull and lift 11- 20 pounds frequently and 21-50 pounds occasionally.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Requires the completion of a Grade 12 Diploma with a completed post-secondary program relevant to the duties of the position (Medical Office Assistant). A minimum of 2 years current and relevant secretarial experience in a medical/hospital setting is required. The successful candidate will have advanced Microsoft Office work skills including Excel, and a typing speed of 40 wpm. Must have current experience with ePeople, Oracle, Markview, RMS, iExpense, Data Group, Connect Care and ESP (employee scheduling platform).
