Additional Required Qualifications:Reporting to the Ambulatory Care Manager of the Northeast Community Health Centre. The successful incumbent will work with patients of all ages and their families of North East Edmonton. Population served can be from high-risk social determinants of health, new Canadians. The Administrative Support IV is responsible for maintaining efficient patient flow during clinic hours of the Ambulatory Care Clinics. The Administrative Support IV will be responsible for organizing tasks such as scheduling patient appointments, greeting the public and keeping accurate patient records on computerized programs. Reception duties such as phone calls from clients and other health care providers from other Facilities/ Departments/Clinics are other responsibilities. Must be able to successfully complete projects under tight timelines with frequent interruptions. Rooming of patients, physical assessment such as height and weight and assisting Physicians with physical exams are part of the daily duties.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Med Access and Connect Care preferred.
