Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields. A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive, diverse administrative experience in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. Knowledge and sensitivity around the culture and health issues of Indigenous people in Edmonton and Central Zones, as well as successful experience working in multi-cultural environments. Demonstrated knowledge of Indigenous community organizational engagement protocols and practices is required. Demonstrate an expertise in Office software, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; and excellent written and oral communication. Ability to work independently. Self-directed with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, with an ability to handle multiple tasks. Excellent interpersonal and team skills. Strong written and oral skills. Liaises with internal and external contacts. Ability to manage and prioritize work and meet deadlines. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Possess a Working Knowledge of Alberta Health Services systems and processes, general office policies and procedures, including, but not limited to financial policies, electronic communication requests system (ARTS), Freedom of Information and Privacy (FOIP), human resource and expense claim systems. Proficiency with e-People, SharePoint, Markview, ESP and iExpense.
