Administrative Support IV
Your Opportunity:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clerical and computer support to adult operating rooms Booking Office. This support is to ensure efficient booking, wait listing and scheduling of patients requiring surgery. Under the guidance of the Booking Office Coordinator, the successful candidate would complete all bookings, liaise with surgeons’ offices and anesthesia, communicate with patients providing surgery information, maintain statistic records and provide other clerical duties as required.

Additional Required Qualifications:High School graduate or equivalent Diploma from a recognized office administration program or equivalent experience Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office application such as; Access, Excel and Word Typing skills with minimum 55 WPM Accuracy and attention to detail are both essential Connect Care experience required Medical terminology required Proven interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal – must be able to demonstrate good telephone and email skills Must be able to establish priorities and meet deadlines Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality Must be able to work independently and have the demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Must be able to walk distances between the Booking Office, UAH and Clinics
