Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent required. Medical Terminology Course required. Recent (within the last 2 years) Dental experience required. Minimum typing approximately 35 wpm. Proficiency in Dental Clinic billing required, including the use of an electronic Dental billing software. Demonstrated proficiency Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, internet, and email) required. Strong Communication skills and demonstrated ability to create positive patient and coworker relationships. Experience with Dental Accounts Receivable required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recognized Business/Clerical course preferred. 3 or more years of administrative experience in a dental clinic preferred. Minimum 2 years recent experience in a hospital or medical environment, involved in booking, reception and clerical duties preferred. Experience with Power Practice, Patterson Imaging, Connect Care preferred.
