Additional Required Qualifications:Medical Terminology Course required. Post-Secondary education required. Recent (within the last 2 years) Dental experience required Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in a dental clinic required. Computer/keyboarding skills with a typing speed of 35 wpm/ Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a hospital or medical environment, involved in booking, reception and clerical duties required. Proficiency in Dental Clinic billing required. Demonstrated proficiency Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, Internet, and Email) required.
Preferred Qualifications:Recognized Dental Admin or Business/Clerical course preferred. Patient booking experience preferred. Experience with Power Practice, & Connect Care preferred. Experience with Dental billing specific to AISH, NIHB and other government programs preferred. Previous experience managing A/R for Dental preferred.
