Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with the RMS (Taleo) and PeopleSoft or a similar Human Resources Management System is required. Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail. Understanding of AHS Privacy and confidentiality policies and how to apply them appropriately when performing file requests and document management. This position has physical requirements including the ability to reach, bend, squat, and lift up to 30 pounds, including standing for periods greater than 1 hour. Previous experience conducting reference checks including the ability to transcribe a verbal conversation, real-time, ensuring accurate and efficient recording of information. Ability to function independently in a high demand, high volume, environment that requires multitasking. Excellent customer service skills are required. Ability to be part of a positive team that works in partnership with other HR teams as well as external/internal stakeholders. Intermediate reading, writing and comprehension of English skills required. Must be able to communicate in a professional manner. This position has a requirement to work onsite at Southport Tower in Calgary on a rotational basis, approximately about once a month.
Preferred Qualifications:Health Care experience is an asset. Previous experience working in Human Resources is an asset. Working knowledge of FOIP legislation related to records management is a strong asset.
