Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Two years recent experience within a Medical Office setting is required. A minimum of one-year recent experience working within Community Health Services is required. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required. Fluency with virtual platforms ( i.e. MS Teams) is required. Experience drafting, editing and proofreading correspondence is required. Must have the ability to analyze data with attention to detail. Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift >30lbs. Strong oral/written communication skills are required. Strong organizational skills are required. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications:Post secondary Medical Office Assistant education is an asset. Experience with Meditech and/or Connect Care is an asset. Experience with Mass Immunization Programs is an asset. Note: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a two-part computer based skills assessment test. Only those who successfully pass the skills assessment test with a passing mark of 80% on each part will be contacted for an interview.
