Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Two years recent experience (within 3 years) in an office environment is required. Strong computer skills including proficiency with MS Office (Excel and Word) are required. Accurate keyboarding skills are required. Must be physically able to lift up to 30lbs. Must be able to perform repetitive motions for long periods of time. Must be physically able to sit, stand and bend for long periods of time. Must excel in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills, strong customer service and interpersonal skills are required. Note: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a computer-based skills assessment test. Only those who pass with 80% or higher will be invited for an interview.
Preferred Qualifications:Medical Office Assistant Certificate is preferred. Medical Office experience is preferred. Experience in E-Clinician and/or NetCare/PD is preferred. Experience in Connect Care is preferred. Experience in SharePoint is an asset. Must excel in a busy environment.
