Administrative Support III - Fax Analyst
Your Opportunity:
HIM Project and Business Solutions is looking for a detail oriented, self-motivated individual to support an established provincial fax delivery system for clinical and transcribed reports. Regular monitoring of multiple faxing solutions for successful report distribution (clinical and non-clinical) is critical to ongoing patient care. Follow up, investigation and redistribution of reports which have failed is a high priority. Timely and accurate follow up including redistribution is critical to providing safe and effective healthcare to the patients that our Alberta Health Corporations serve. The incumbent is responsible for performing activities which directly support the distribution of reports by fax or mail for multiple clinical areas throughout the province of Alberta. Continued communication and follow up with multiple disciplines and clinical areas is a key factor in the roles and responsibilities within this area. This position works in close collaboration with provincial HSS RightFax Administration and key clinical and business stakeholder groups. This position is responsible for ensuring established policies and procedures are followed. Input and insight into process improvements and efficiencies is imperative to the success of this role. The HIM Project & Business Solutions team is a virtual, provincial team; however, the incumbent will be working in a secure health records department to support distribution of printed reports by mail.
