Your Opportunity:

This Administrative Support III position completes data entry for the Canadian Hospital Injury Reporting Prevention Program (CHIRPP) which is the collection and submission of injury forms for adults and children presenting to the UAH/Stollery Children’s Emergency Department. Collected forms are sent to the Public Health Agency of Canada. The Administrative Support III assists in preparation of injury reports and interpretation of the CHIRPP data collected at the site. The position also supports injury prevention activities for the UAH/Stollery and the rest of Alberta with national involvement in an advisory capacity to the Injury and Child Maltreatment Section of the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

2 Years acute care setting. Recent data entry experience. Proficient with computer-based applications including Word, Excel, and Windows. Medical terminology. Must be able to work independently to achieve deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Long periods of sitting and keyboarding. Connect Care.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference for previous use of with NetCare.
