Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk course or equivalent training program (including Medical Terminology). Excellent knowledge of the English language, demonstrating strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Accurate and proficient keyboarding skills with experience utilizing computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Minimum of 1 year recent Unit Clerk experience. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong critical thinking skills, demonstrated time-management and organization skills, and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Incumbent must have training and experience utilizing Connect Care in an Ambulatory setting.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference given to those with recent experience in an Ambulatory Care setting.
