Administrative Support III
Your Opportunity:
The successful candidate will deal with a variety of tasks requiring a considerable degree of knowledge and independence. This individual will enjoy working in a highly challenging, change-orientated environment, which includes working closely with the Home Care Manager and Health Care Aide Team Lead. The incumbent will: Assist with coverage in the front Reception office by providing administrative support to the Camrose Home Care office. Handle interactions with the public, professionals, and clientele in a skillful, professional, and confidential manner. Answer and direct phone calls. Perform administrative responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency, maintaining the filing system and other related duties, including preparing client files for the Case Managers. This position will also support the Health Care Aide Team Lead and Health Care Aides with: Handling and processing all new service authorizations or changes in a timely manner. Editing and printing care plans to be sent out to clients. Maintaining records of client schedules and sharing with HCA’s. Managing care time requests and offering suggestions for changes to those requests or service authorizations as needed. Organizing fleet vehicle assignment and booking maintenance of same. Processing staffing time off requests, arranging coverage for shifts as needed, and any other duties that may be needed to support the team.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:High School Diplomas required. Post-secondary Business or Office Admin. Diploma/Certificate or equivalent. Knowledge of or prior experience in a home care office environment would be an asset. Must possess a strong team spirit and the ability to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills are a must. Must have the ability to set priorities, work productively and in a well-organized manner. Must be proficient in working with Microsoft Office Suite and must demonstrate the ability to learn new applications. Experience with Meditech an asset. Experience with Connect Care an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through your employment references.
