Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Candidates for this clerical role are required to have post-secondary education, such as certification as a medical office assistant or in business administration. Completion of an Administrative Professional diploma or an equivalent program, along with experience in a healthcare environment, is essential. Applicants should possess intermediate knowledge of computer technology and applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Visio, MS OneNote, and MS Teams. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are crucial for success in this position. Fluency in English, both written and oral, is mandatory. The ability to work independently with minimal direction while managing multiple changing priorities and interruptions is necessary. Additionally, candidates should be able to lift 0 - 10 lbs. frequently and 10 - 20 lbs. occasionally, as well as be comfortable moving between sitting, standing, and walking significant distances throughout the clinic during the day.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency with Connect Care, iPHIS, and Netcare. Ability to complete clerical documentation accurately. A solid understanding of cultural competency, particularly in working with immigrant and refugee populations. Effective communication skills to support non-English speaking clients, ensuring an inclusive environment.
