Your Opportunity:

As an Administrative Support III supporting Allied Health, Pediatric Community Rehabilitation (PCR), you will work as part of a team to support front reception and perform clerical duties for the Northgate site and PCR program. As the first point of contact for clients, the successful candidate will demonstrate a friendly and flexible approach with strong customer service skills. Key clerical responsibilities may include completing patient registrations, processing referrals and scheduling appointments as well as validating and inputting data. Additional responsibilities may include generating reports and correspondence, minute taking, timekeeping, ordering supplies, and assisting with a variety of general activities to support site and/or program operations.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Three to five years recent related administrative and reception experience – applicants will be asked to complete a skills test. Connect Care training and experience. Advanced proficiency in various computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Hands on experience with office equipment (fax and printer). Must possess proven organizational, time management and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and cooperate with others. Ability to be self-directed and resourceful in managing unexpected issues. Candidates must be able to manage lifting up to 20lbs and extended sedentary periods as work for this position is phone/computer based.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Office Management and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an EMR is considered an asset.
