Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Strong working knowledge and use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Excellent working knowledge of Public Health computer applications, including Meditech, Netcare, AVBS, Genesys, Connect Care, CDOM, ER4, AVI. Effective communication skills required – oral and written. Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams. Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed, fast paced environment. Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive attitude while being adaptable to change. Demonstrated ability to be warm, welcoming, respectful, patient and non-judgmental in working with the public and with colleagues. Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions with minimal guidance, where appropriate for role.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 3 years administrative support experience, at least 1 year of that within a health care facility. Graduate of a post-secondary administrative support program. Administrative support experience within a health care facility. Experience with data entry of immunizations. Experience with meeting minute taking.
