Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager of the Family Care Clinic at the East Edmonton Health Centre, this position functions as part of a multidisciplinary team. The incumbent will provide administrative/clerical services for the clinic staff and clients by performing a variety of diversified tasks including coordinating client care as directed by the physicians, nurse practitioners, and various other multidisciplinary staff, coordinating patient bookings and referrals with internal/external services, departments, staff members and physicians. Key job responsibility is booking and scheduling patients for clinic appointments. As part of the team, you must be willing to work with patients who are vulnerable with numerous social determinates of health issues. This position will be part of Primary Care Alberta effective November 18, 2024. Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Medical Terminology required. Two years direct experience in an administrative support role in a primary care clinic. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and adapt to frequent interruptions in work activities as well as changing demands. Must have strong attention to detail and be detailed orientated. Required to have Connect Care training for ambulatory care. Excellent planning, organization, time management and customer skills are required.
