Your Opportunity:
Under the general direction of the Integrated Home Care Manager, the Administrative Support III provides administrative support to the Home Care Programs. This position will provide all forms of clerical support in order to keep the team well organized and efficient. As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department and or program along with direct client services. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS Please note this position is approximately 64 km SW outside of Calgary

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Fluency in the English language. Medical Office Assistant certificate or equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pleasant manner. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Must be flexible and able to deal with stress and short timelines Demonstrated strong organizational skills, consistent attention to detail, flexibility, self-direction, and prioritization of work are essential. The incumbent must possess strong conflict resolution skills and display excellent judgement analytical capabilities Must be able to exercise judgement, professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion particularly when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential issues. Must be a critical thinker, be self-directed and highly motivated. Must possess sound decision-making skills and display the ability to make decisions appropriately and quickly in new situations. Must demonstrate strong team building skills and commitment to team approach and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people. (Physicians and other members of the health care team). Proficiency in typing and computer skills such as Microsoft office (word, excel, outlook, PowerPoint) is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of 1 – 2 years of Health Care administrative experience Home Care experience preferred Payroll experience and staff scheduling experience is an asset Experience with Connect Care, PARIS, ESP, HRSS e-People Timekeeper, Meditech, CPSM is an asset.
