Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of Grade 12 and equivalent experience will be considered. Minimum of Three (3) years of related experience in progressively responsible administrative support positions, the last 5 years. Solid verbal and writing and editing English communication skills. Proven record of proactiveness and dependability, timely follow through and responsive communication and action in response to queries. Proficiency in computer skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook Calendar, Adobe, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint). Computer skill test administrated at interview. Must be accurate & detail orientated, experienced in high volume staff scheduling, timekeeping and payroll in a unionized environment. Ability to handle stressful situations, strong organizational/time management, problem-solving & analytical skills. Ability to perform repetitive movements, prolonged sitting for the duration of your shift as well as ability to walk back and forth between both departments throughout your shift. Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of Food, Linen & Environmental Services duties. Current knowledge of AUPE collective agreement and pay codes. Customer service experience. Food, Linen, Environmental Services leadership experience such as a working leader, shift lead or equivalent preferred.
