Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to prioritize work, multitask, and work efficiently within a fast-paced environment with constant interruptions and changing work demands required. Must have strong organizational and critical thinking skills, and keen attention to detail. Excellent time management and interpersonal skills required. Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently with minimal supervision, as well as within a multidisciplinary team. Must be proficient in navigating through and working with a variety of computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in a health care setting, preferably in an acute care addiction and mental health setting, is a must. Excellent attendance and a positive attitude at work is a must. Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Medical office certificate, Unit Clerk course, or equivalent training and experience.
