Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of a post-secondary medical administrative or Unit Clerk course (including a Medical Terminology) is required. Clerical experience in a medical environment within the last 3 years is required. Excellent communication skills and work ethic are required. The successful candidate must have exceptional interpersonal skills, a positive attitude. Must have the ability to consistently display professionalism, tact and courtesy with patients, physicians and staff. Must be able to work in a team environment and independently. Good judgment and concern for detail and accuracy required. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

One year previous Administrative Support III or Unit Clerk experience within the last 3 years preferred. Experience in a Diagnostic Imaging department is an asset. Experience with Connect Care and Netcare also preferred. Proficient time management and organizational skills preferred.
