Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Clerk or related certification, diploma. BLS – AED Health Care Provider Level C, required. Proficiency with ESP, Microsoft Office, Intranet, NetCare. Proficiency with Connect Care required including referrals management and running Connect Care reports. Medical terminology required. Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision is required. Ability to prioritize patient needs and conditions according to protocols. Ability to understand and grasp new concepts quickly with limited guidance. Two years previous receptionist/secretarial experience in the medical field.
Preferred Qualifications:Customer service training, preferred. Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated ability to practice in a patient/family centered environment. Effective problem-solving skills including analytical thinking and conflict resolution/negotiation. Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
