Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Medical office assistant or unit clerk program. Medical terminology certificate. Keyboarding of 40 wpm (corrected for errors) Test will be administered. Must possess and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work under little supervision and work effectively in a team environment. Applicant must be able to work under pressure with strong detail to accuracy. Able to maintain poise under pressure and ability to prioritize and organize work in a fast paced environment. Demonstrated ability to interact in a positive manner. Must have a proven record of maintaining privacy with sensitive information and situations.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent Health information management experience preferred.
