Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

The role requires a minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute with 98% accuracy and 130 keystrokes per minute with 95% accuracy, along with successful completion of basic math, typing, and diet‑terminology/guideline skills tests. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a healthcare food service environment, one year of customer service experience and at least 6 months prior experience working in a Diet Office. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English and maintain professionalism and effectiveness when interacting with distressed or dissatisfied callers. The position involves spending up to 60% of the shift on the phone and up to 90% keyboarding, as well as tolerating extended periods of sitting, and may include bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling items up to 20 lbs. Applicants must be able to perform a variety of duties with limited supervision, follow through on issues and action plans, and use monitoring systems to ensure completion. Basic proficiency with CBORD, Connect Care, Windows software (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint Online), and Formula Calculator is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates who have post‑secondary education in administrative assistant/clerical studies or a related field, along with advanced proficiency in CBORD, Epic, RMID, and Formula Calculator.
