Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Able to work independently, but function as a team member. Must be able to communicate effectively, written and verbal. Must be able to establish good interpersonal relationships. Able to organize and complete own work with emphasis on detail, accuracy and thoroughness. Demonstrates initiative to assist others with workload. Maintains confidentiality. Familiar with (HIA) Health Information Act and (FOIP) Freedom of Information and Privacy Act. Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Word, Excel. Competent in maneuvering within/ data entry.
Preferred Qualifications:Formal administrative/ clerical training preferred. Good knowledge of medical terminology is an asset. Excellent communication skills. Meditech, Iron Mountain.
