The Activities Convenor position is part of the Allied Health and Patient Experience team at Alberta Hospital Edmonton (AHE). This role offers a rewarding opportunity to enhance patient engagement through evening recreation and site-based events. AHE provides care for individuals experiencing mental health and addiction issues, utilizing both acute and rehabilitative models. As a member of the Patient Engagement program, the successful candidate will independently facilitate a variety of leisure-based activities. This recovery-focused role demands strong communication skills. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. As an Activities Convenor, you will be responsible for planning, organizing and carrying out entertainment, diversion, social and emotional wellness group activities for clients.
