Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Medical Affairs Team Leader(s), the Secretary II (Administrative Assistant) will function as an integral part of the Medical Affairs team, supporting numerous activities in support of the Covenant Health (COV) Medical Affairs portfolio and providing advanced administrative support to Executive medical leadership in Medical Affairs, Facility Chiefs, and clinical departments as required. This position manages both student and resident schedules at the Grey Nuns Hospital. This position will assist with the overall efficient coordination and operation of the senior leader offices including managing daily activities, multiple calendars, liaising with internal and external parties, providing administrative support to various meetings and committees, event planning, and other related duties with a high degree of independence as needed. Ability to prioritize requests and duties, and ability to work in a busy environment is key to this position. This position provides back up to the other Medical Affairs portfolios providing cross coverage as and when needed.

Description: The Secretary II provides advanced level administrative support. The Secretary II performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 41 Collective Agreement.
