Completion of a recognized Human Resources Diploma program. (Equivalent education and/or experience may be considered). Demonstrated understanding and practical application of the full-cycle recruitment process, including candidate screening, interviewing, reference checking and supporting hiring decisions. Experience with recruitment management systems, Microsoft Office Suite and online survey systems. Experience in the development of best practice recruitment templates and tools and the delivery of education sessions to clients.

They communicate effectively, developing and delivering clear written and verbal communication that reflects an understanding of the needs of different audiences. They collaborate well with others, building partnerships and working effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives. The specialist is able to manage complexity, operating effectively in situations where priorities shift or the path forward may not always be clear. They demonstrate nimble learning, approaching new challenges with curiosity and a willingness to learn through experimentation, using both successes and setbacks as opportunities for growth. A strong customer focus is essential, with the ability to build positive relationships and deliver responsive, customer-centered solutions while instilling trust through honesty, integrity and professionalism. Finally, the candidate ensures accountability, taking ownership of their work and consistently meeting commitments while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. Two years recruitment experience in a large organization with high-volume recruitment. Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) and/or Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation. Experience working in a unionized healthcare setting. Experience using Taleo, PeopleSoft, Service Now and REDCap.
