A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a health discipline is required, a Master's Degree is preferred. Must have at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience within a clinical care setting, five of which will have been in a supervisory/management level position. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Certified in CPR necessary. Active annual registration with a professional college is required (where applicable).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Exhibits strong clinical knowledge and skill in acute care nursing or relevant specialty. Demonstrated aptitude for leadership and progression in career. Current computer skills. Provides evidence of professional development. Exhibits excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Acts as a role model for other staff. Works within the Mission, Vision, and Values of Covenant Health. Follows the Policies and Procedures developed by Covenant Health. Exhibits sound problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Exhibits ability to provide coaching and possesses conflict management skills. Flexible and open to change. Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize.
