Your Opportunity:
The Site Program Manager, Integrated Access, Grey Nuns Hospital is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have a passion for patient access and flow and quality improvement. The incumbent works with all departments in the hospital as well as several zone and provincial areas.
Description:
Reporting to the Corporate Director, this position is responsible for the leadership and operations within the Integrated Access department and is responsible and accountable for developing, leading, implementing and evaluating processes to achieve identified goals at a site level which includes: Providing clinical leadership, direction and management for overall site access and capacity. Working with the Corporate Director to facilitate the smooth delivery of services within the site and across the continuum of care; collaboration within Integrated Access to ensure continuity and standardization where applicable. Addressing a range of complex site operational and service related issues using specialized knowledge, experience and judgment and knowledge of site and provincial processes and policies. Identifying, leading, facilitating and evaluating selected initiatives related to site operations/service delivery, including process and system improvement. Responsibility and accountability for leading several multidisciplinary operational teams in the planning, delivery and evaluation of assigned programs. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with site leadership and multi and interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute short and long-term milestones and objectives. Developing, leading, implementing and evaluating processes to achieve identified goals from a site, zone and provincial level. Other site based duties as assigned to support site operations. The Site Program Manager adheres to and serves as a role model for the COV mission, vision, values.

A minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree in a clinical/health care discipline or equivalencies in education and experience may be considered. Masters preferred.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Three to five (5) years in a health care provider role and a minimum of three (3) years in a leadership capacity, with a demonstrated pattern of professional and personal development. Licensure with a professional college as appropriate to the qualifications of the incumbent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability analyzing problems, decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching. Effective communication and collaboration skills with strong organizational skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Demonstrated ability to manage change. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals while managing in a unionized sector.
