Reporting to the Manager of Organizational Development & Effectiveness (OD&E), the successful applicant will build strong trust-based relationships and effectively collaborate to develop and implement innovative solutions and programs grounded in evidence-based organizational development principles. The OD&E Consultant will think at a strategic and systems level to design and deliver services that advance organizational culture, employee engagement and inclusion, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, talent and learning programs, and data and human insights. Ultimately, this role is encouraging and empowering our Covenant Health team members to learn, grow and thrive. The Organizational Development and Effectiveness (OD&E) Consultant designs and delivers innovative and human-centred programs and solutions that enable leaders and teams to thrive and deliver high quality care and service in a complex healthcare environment. Working in both self-directed and team-based environments, the OD&E Consultant is responsible for the innovative design, development and delivery of sustainable initiatives, programs and/or services that attract, engage, develop and retain our talent. Enabling leaders to champion our culture, drive organizational effectiveness and advance our strategic aspirations. Responsibilities might include design, development and/or administration of programming in change practices, leadership development, talent assessment and development, organizational culture, performance enablement, recognition, wellness and team effectiveness. This position is non-unionized.

As the successful candidate, you will have: A bachelor’s degree in organizational development, leadership, business administration, human resources, psychology or organizational psychology. Equivalent education and experience will be considered. 5 years experience providing leadership development, organizational development, internal consultation, and facilitation services within a complex organization. Proven ability to successfully lead significant organization-wide initiatives and programs. Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically and at a systems-level. Certification in Executive Coaching. Experience with evidence-based leadership development, adult learning principles and organizational-wide talent management approaches. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills are an essential requirement of this position. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships with diverse internal and external partners. Experience with facilitating large sessions of people both in person and using virtual platforms. Experience in administering assessment tools 360 feedback or typology Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Additional Required Qualifications:As required.
Preferred Qualifications:A Master’s degree in organizational development, leadership, business administration, human resources, psychology or organizational psychology. Certification in Change & Transition Management and/or Project Management. Experience leading a variety of teams and/or initiatives. Organizational Design experience. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint. Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation.
