Your Opportunity:

The Corporate Services Manager plays a leadership and support role in the Finance portfolio reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This position supports the Chief Financial Officer and the broader portfolio in achieving its objectives by: Providing project leadership/management and/or support to financial planning and financial reporting activities. Facilitating, providing leadership and actively participating in strategic, budget and operational planning. Prepares briefing notes and updates for the Chief Financial Officer as required Involvement in key organizational and operational projects at the program, site, portfolio and corporate levels. This may include leading/coordinating, supporting and/or participating in the annual planning cycle. Monitoring of initiatives and projects, including overseeing key portfolio performance measures and work plan activities. In addition to the above, the position provides coordination and/or recommendations to the Chief Financial Officer in the areas of issues management. The position will liaise with internal/external stakeholders while serving on provincial and zone committees, often acting on behalf of the Chief Financial Officer. The position requires strong project management and change management skills and the ability to work with a wide range of different professionals. This position works closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Operational Leadership Team, other operational leaders, and key departments that provide support and/or regularly interact with the CFO , including but not limited to) Office of the President & CEO, Offices of the COO and CMO, Project Management Office, Mission, Human Resources and Communications. This position is non-unionized.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated pattern of professional and personal development is required. Ability to lead complex, organization-wide transformation/integration initiatives from planning, implementation, evaluation and ongoing monitoring support; while considering time-frame and outcome implications of strategies, change management and engagement components and the interface with other teams across the organization. Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, motivation, guidance and promote teamwork while demonstrating a commitment to operational excellence. Ability to work within a strong team environment to develop and achieve shared goals and objectives. Ability to effectively communicate using tact and diplomacy with internal customers and representatives from of external agencies on a broad range of operational issues.


Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced professional designation from a related field such as a Master of Health Administration, Master of Public Health, Master of Business Administration, Chartered Professional Accountant or a related field is preferred.
