Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA). Minimum of three (3) years’ experience within the last five (5) working in a clinical laboratory setting, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience in Quality Management System activities such as proficiency testing, competency assessment, non-conforming event reporting, internal and external assessments, and document management. Minimum two (2) years’ experience with Microsoft 365 suite of applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams). Recent (within the last 5 years) experience engaging with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent (within the last 5 years) experience leading or participating in process improvement projects. Quality Management System Certificate or equivalent post-secondary education or experience in Quality Management Systems. Process Improvement Certification (e.g. AIW Green Belt). Change Management certification (e.g. ProSCI). Project Management certification.
