PhD and/or post-doctoral experience in public health microbiology genomics with additional courses/training in bioinformatics. Alternatively, a PhD in bioinformatics with post-doctoral experience in public health microbiology genomics.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Effective communication skills both written and verbal, leadership skills, good time-management, multi-tasking, excellent computer skills and the ability to work in a team-orientated environment, within a fast-paced changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the research, development, and validation of laboratory developed molecular diagnostics tests, is considered an asset.
